Not sure if they are hiring. Check with Mario's Pizza close by they are always hiring.
Actually it's old fashioned home style, if they only served beer and wine it would be perfect
Great food and great service! A fixture in Albuquerque since 1971!
By far.. Still the BEST lasagna in Abq. New owners, same recipes. And nicely renovated with a touch of original still in place. 👍
Hadn't been here in a few years as I've moved away from the area. They did not disappoint, great service, tasty food and wonderful atmosphere. I've always liked Caruso's and am very happy to know they're just as great as they always were.
I can remember this quiet little restaurant home owned good food all the spaghetti you could eat when I was a child I often come back and share the feelings good place.
Very fresh Italian cuisine served here. Would recommend bringing smaller groups here, as opposed to large one. The placemats used to have maps and interesting context, but seems to have disappeared.
Lovely place, great food, friendly servers!
Had a pepperoni and green chilli calsone. Was amazing and the marinara sauce was on point great food and great service. My belly is all the happy
Absolutely amazing! Has that Italian feel, mixed in with awesome service and smiles. The food is delicious and more. I have been eating there since I was a child. Still amazing. Brings back numerous childhood memories. I never get tired of eating there. Absolutely a must if you love Italian food. They make their own sauces and everything.
Comfortable atmosphere, friendly faces, delicious food. Hard to find these little "hole in the walls" that serve great food, but Caruso's is fantastic. Cozy little restaurant that is perfect for going out to lunch or dinner with family or friends. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out at least once if you've never been there and you'll enjoy it.
I did not like them.. the food was bland.. and not worth the price. Friendly but not a good place to eat
Nice and cozy place. Great food. The pizza is great the Lasagna is great and the chicken Parmesan is great too!
Quality of food not the same. The "meat" in tonight's lasagna was reminiscent of canned cat food. It did not look or even taste like ground beef. Grade C beef at best. Service was spotty. Friendly staff but not on the ball with the orders. Appetizer order was never placed. Two of the 3 plates we ordered came to the table together, the third arrived quite some time later. No one likes to sit there hungry, watching others eating their meals while they wait. I'd say pass on this place, IMO it's really gone down.
Be prepared for a wait. The food is pretty good though.
Very yummy food and great staff. Glad we stopped here on our visit to Albuquerque
Ordered chicken Alfredo and the Alfredo sauce tasted like it was from Walmart, Garlic bread felt like croutons, but my chocolate milk was good.
Went with family for some spaghetti and meatballs. Little cozy restaurant with nice staff quiet place take out available. The food was delicious!!! From the soup and salad to the hot fresh bread to the large plate of spaghetti with meatballs!! I will definitely go back!!!
Nice Mom-and-Pop restaurant.
Good food. Sandwiches are SO SMALL for the price and the bottom of the sanwich was soggy.
Always awesome 👍 been coming here for over 40 years! This is the ONLY place my husband will eat spaghetti other than his own that he makes at home 😲.
Probably the best Italian place in Albuquerque! The food and ingredients are fresh and full of flavor! Your be hard pressed to find better. The environment is welcoming, warm and friendly. The staff is great. Definitely a gem of the Sandia Foothills.
Consistently good Italian
Setting was cute, clean, comfortable. Service was slow, never got offered refills and drinks. Not very welcoming. Food was bland and not authentic, will not be returning.
Attentive staff, great food portions, nice environment.
We have been going there for years. Since new owners they have been rude and not sure why we are paying customers? I just placed an order of 2 medium pizzas with extra toppings, dinner spaghetti and side salad the charge was 77.00 it's usually around 45.00 asked why so much said for the toppings it was just extra pepperoni. Let her know we weren't ordering a case of pepperoni? Very rude on the phone.
Got a meatball sub and was expecting something amazing for $10. Was good, but about the same as Subway...
Food really good. New owner and manager very pleasant. Glad to learn Carusos will stay open
Good pasta and sauce! They are such nice folks too. Great place for a simple and convenient meal.
very good traditional Italian restaurant, quick service, tasty food!
Excited to get fried chicken and spaghetti! Juicy and crispy chicken with the tasty spaghetti sauce hit every spot, never herd of the combination but won't ever forget! Highly recommend with the side salad. Glad I've found this little gem
I am biased these are family friends. This place has a unique pasta sauce. The meatballs are good. Always good.
My family has gone to this little hole in the wallfor years. Since i was a kid, I've always loved the place. Good pasta, warm bread, delicious sauce. I came again for the first time in a few years with my fiance, praying it would still be as good as the memories were. And to my happiness, it was. Wonderful food and service. This will always be my favorite pasta restraunt, but now it's my fiances too. Keep it up!
The food is wonderful as is the ambiance. Very nice staff.
Is being remodeled. Food is still just as good as before, even under new ownership. Service was great.
I've always remembered this place the 1st time I went. I love it and it's so friendly. Prices are good and it's a lovely set up
Caruso's has been around for as long as I can remember. The food has always been good. I was hesitant to go back with a new owner, because I wasn't sure how the food was going to be. I am happy to say the food and staff is still amazing I would definitely recommend this place for a nice quiet family dinner.
Great place to eat Italian food. Love the quaint atmosphere and old Italian look on the inside. Food is great, have eaten there for over 35 plus years. Great lasagna & veal parmesan. If you love Mom & pop Restaurants with great food then give them a try. You won't be let down.
Nice spot and everyone is real nice. The food is the bomb and the owner was really nice. I will be back its cheap enough i may even order takeout
The pizza crust was thin, with not much flavor. The toppings were sparse and the sauce didn't have much taste either. Sadly, I was disappointed with Caruso's and will not go back. Just not my type of pizza.
This place is so dam delicious that it will not disappoint you
I love this restaurant, I have been coming here since I was a kid - the chef and owner Johnny is a true chef and every meal is delightful. His daughter, Alicia is a waitress and she is a true delight. I love that she does her homework and still works long hours. Everything is amazing. Send good vibes, and good tips their way!
Veal parmesan was delicious. Great prices as well!
The owner and the staff were great!!! They were very friendly and easy to start chatting up. It was a great experience, and the food was great the portions were right.
No sorry too much of a small town American food taste. Sauces were not homemade or authentic Italian tasting...👎🏽
I've Loved this place for 40 years! So sorry to hear the owner died! I hope the new owners keep up the quality!
Caruso's meat sauce and ravioli is delicious! Bread could be stepped up, maybe just by grilling it .
Enjoyed a cozy dinner with My Valentine at Caruso's. A Little mom and pop restaurant with a big taste. No waiting, No crowds. Reasonable prices and good size helping.
Came in right after opening. Got started and waited upon right away. As usual, the food was delicious. I have been going for an old fashioned 'Italian" feast here for at least the last 40 year's. It's a nice little family owned restaurant. I ordered the lasagna, and it arrived hot and delicious as usual.
So many wonderful dishes. Start with the minestrone, it is do flavorful. Lasagna, rigatoni, spaghetti and meatballs. ..it is ALL good. Must try the pizza too.
Really great food
Came in for a late lunch with my family while here on vacation. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. After we sat down, the server was beckoned by the owner who was sitting at a table next to ours. The whole time we were waiting for our food, the owner was playing some kind of music on his phone. It was on repeat. Very loud and disruptive. He treated his employees with no respect at all. Pointing and commanding them to do this or to do that. After our food arrived, it was hot and tasted good. However, the rudeness of the music and demeanor of the owner just was too much to sit there and finish. We asked for boxes for all of us and let the server know why we were leaving. He never said a word or offered to make any amends. I would not suggest dining in here. The food was good however so if your up for take out, this might be the place.
